We are Teachers
Learning is always taking place, consciously or unconsciously. In particular our environment is the biggest teacher of all. Each of us creates an environment around us that teaches the people around us. It could be in the home, office or organisation. Sometimes the best lessons in life are created without conscious intention. Such lessons then assume their own life and momentum.
Lessons from my school days
I went to Hamilton High School in Bulawayo. In those entire years the headmaster was, Mr. Titus Dube, one of the first black students to be admitted to the University of Rhodesia to do a Bachelor of Arts Degree. It is never crowded at the top and it certainly feels better than being ordinary and one in a crowd. Many people do not achieve much because they aim too low, get tired too soon and easily get satisfied with little. The purpose of life was never survival but achievement.
